Muscle-In is hailing this year’s BodyPower exhibition, held late last month at the NEC, a huge success. As Radical Sportswear director, Paula Teader stated: “It was a big decision to take Muscle-In to BodyPower, however the feedback that we received in relation to both the brand and product range was far greater than anyone anticipated.
“The stand attracted a great deal of interest and it was a great opportunity to meet customers and obtain their feedback, whilst getting the Muscle-In proposition out there amongst the public. What’s more, the increase in online sales and web traffic has been equally as impressive, as were the trade type leads that we are now in the process of following up on,” she added.
Helping promote the brand at BodyPower were a number of MI Team members, including Commonwealth Welterweight Boxing Champion, Denton Vassell, British and English Muay Thai Boxing Champion, Mark Skeer, enhancement specialist, Ainslee Shafto and bodybuilding competitor, Chris Shelmerdine.
 
Indeed Denton put on a much-appreciated skipping demonstration in front of an enthusiastic audience watching the FitFactor competition on the Saturday of the show. Muscle-In team member, Chris Shelmerdine – recognised as one of the country’s brightest bodybuilding prospects – also made his presence felt at BodyPower by competing in FitFactor and Physique of The Week.

BOXING CHAMPION VASSELL PACKS A PUNCH FOR NEW SPORTS CLOTHING BRAND

Manchester’s undefeated Commonwealth Welterweight boxing champion, Denton Vassell, is throwing his weight behind recently launched fitness and sports clothing brand – Muscle-In.
 
Currently in training in the build-up to the much anticipated unification clash for the British and Commonwealth welterweight titles at Liverpool Olympia on Friday, June 28th against Frankie Gavin, Vassell is actively endorsing the new sports and fitness clothing range, and will wear it both in and out of the ring.
 
Launched in January by Manchester-based Radical Sportswear, Muscle-In has been developed and engineered using the latest high quality fabric technology to deliver real performance benefits. Having fought on the same card as Freddie Flintoff to secure the Commonwealth title late last year, Vassell made a remarkable return to the ring after a year long absence, stopping Ronnie Heffron in the sixth round to retain his crown. The imminent fight between Vassell and Gavin, which is being dubbed the ‘Battle of Britain’, will be a proper bout between two undefeated boxers who are the best in their weight in the country.
 
As Denton states: “It’s awesome being part of Muscle-In. All of their clothing is great to wear and it’s a fantastic looking new brand. It fits really well, is very comfortable and it makes me feel confident and sharp whether I’m training in it or out relaxing.”
